Puppy training is much more than just managing biting, toilet training, and teaching your dog to sit.
It’s about laying the foundations for your puppy, to help them grow into a confident and resilient dog. One who is able to navigate day-to-day life, cope with difficult moments and most importantly feel safe.
When I’m not working with puppies, I’m often helping older dogs who are struggling with issues like reactivity, anxiety, or aggression. What stands out time and time again is that many of these behaviours have roots in early puppyhood.
In a lot of cases, the puppy’s behaviour has been misunderstood or accidentally reinforced. Early signs of fear or frustration are easy to miss, especially with the amount of conflicting advice out there. It’s no wonder puppy owners often feel unsure of what to do for the best.
That’s why I have created the ‘Well Trained Puppy Program’, which is a comprehensive course, designed to give owners the skills, knowledge and confidence to raise a confident and resilient puppy – without the uncertainty or confusion.

This session covers: settle (calm), teaching your puppy to go to their bed & sit.

Polite Greetings, Recall Foundations & Play
This session covers: polite greetings, recall foundations & power of play.

Lead Walking, Road Safety & Follow Me
This session will cover: lead walking, road crossings and follow me (this way).

Lead Walking, Recall & Focus around Distractions
This session covers: lead walking with distractions, recall with distractions (off lead) & building focus & attention.

What areas do you cover for puppy training?
My puppy training services are available in Caterham, Coulsdon, Crawley, Dorking, East Grinstead, Edenbridge, Godstone, Haywards Heath, Horley, Horsham, Lingfield, Leatherhead, Oxted, Reigate, Sevenoaks & Westerham
What training methods do you use?
I only use force-free, positive reinforcement training methods.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, all our training programs can be paid via monthly payment plans.
What if I need more sessions?
When it comes to additional sessions, you can purchase individual sessions (£75) or subscribe to our ongoing monthly support which consists of 2 x 1 hour sessions for £140 per month.
How often should sessions be booked?
I recommend training sessions are booked every 2 – 3 weeks. This gives your time to practice and for your puppy to grow.
Does my puppy need to be vaccinated to start training?
Not at all! One of the benefits of 1:1 puppy training is that it takes place at your home, so training can start before your puppy has had their vaccinations.
Where do sesions take place?
The first session takes place at your home. Follow-up training sessions will take place either at your home or outside in your local area – this is dependant on what we are working on.
