Rescue dogs require a unique approach.
Fear of people, incredibly high prey drive, aggression towards other dogs, guarding of people, places & food are just some of the challenges you may be facing. Dealing with them can sometimes also be extremely challenging too. The good news is with the right approach, some understanding and lots of patience, you can help your dog.
Working with a dog trainer who has long-standing experience working with rescue dogs is imperative to being able to achieve results. Rescue dogs can be harder to train due to their past experience so enlisting a qualified, rescue specialist such as myself that can call upon years of experience is incredibly useful in achieving stress-free results.
Client Reviews
Specialist Knowledge
Through working with both UK and overseas reaches, I have learned that most overseas rescues have had a drastically different learning experience compared to UK dogs, which often causes behavioural issues that confuse and frustrate owners. Resolving these issues often requires a different approach to traditional training.
That is why in 2022, I became a ‘Romanian Rescue Pro Trainer’ learning from the wonderful Meesh Masters. The purpose of this course was to help me learn more about the unique personalities and behaviour quirks that overseas rescue dogs can have.
As someone who has a personal attachment to rescue dogs and as a token of my thanks to you for rescuing, I offer a discount on my bespoke training programme. Rescuing can be such a rewarding achievement for all involved and working together, this is something we can achieve.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Training Program Breakdown
Our training programs are completely tailored to you and your dog. By working on a 1 to 1 basis, we will be able to identify the root causes of your dogs behaviour and create an effective treatment plan to help them.
2 Hour Initial Session
The initial assessment allows me to get a clearer understanding of your dogs issue(s) and the potential reason(s) for them. This is usually done at your home (if safe to do so) and will cover every aspect of your dogs life.
A Basic Movement & Posture Analysis
Dog behavioural issues are often caused or made worse by underlying pain. This analysis will help us identify if there are any physical issues affecting your dog.
Tailored Training Plan
The training plan you receive will be tailored to you and your dog. It will be designed to help you make progress as quickly and efficiently as possible.
1 Hour Follow-up Training Sessions
Follow-up training sessions are there to help you move through your training plan and make your dogs behaviour change last.
Private Community
You’ll get lifetime access to a private group of other B&L clients who are going through the same thing as you. This is a place where you can vent, get support and make friends.
Lifetime Support
Before, during & after our time working together, you’ll have 24/7 access to me. That means you’ll be able to contact me regarding any issues or questions you have.
