ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Anthony Lennard, a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist
I set up Buttons & Leash after the unexpected arrival of Tywin in 2018, who came with an extreme fear of people & traffic, along with a rare birth defect. Thankfully, we were able to work through his issues and he became my work dog until he passed in 2024.
My experience with Tywin and the hundreds of dogs I’ve successfully worked with, has shown me just how important getting puppyhood right is. Often the behavioral issues in older dogs can be traced back to when they were a puppy. So if you’re looking for a trainer who can help you understand your puppy’s behaviour & show you how to train them in an ethical & effective way – I’d love to help you.

What areas do you cover for puppy training?
My puppy training services are available in Caterham, Coulsdon, Crawley, Dorking, East Grinstead, Edenbridge, Godstone, Haywards Heath, Horley, Horsham, Lingfield, Leatherhead, Oxted, Reigate, Sevenoaks & Westerham
What training methods do you use?
I only use force-free, positive reinforcement training methods. I do not offer quick fixes, I focus on long-term behaviour change.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, all our training programs can be paid via monthly payment plans.
What if I need more sessions?
When it comes to additional sessions, you can purchase individual sessions (£75) or subscribe to our ongoing monthly support which consists of 2 x 1 hour sessions for £140 per month.
