Redhill Dog Training
Puppy Training, Dog Behaviour Support & Overseas Rescue Support
Life with a dog should feel joyful. If it doesn't, something’s off.
We all imagine having that ideal companion—calm on walks, relaxed at home, friendly with strangers, and a joy to be around. But sometimes, reality doesn’t match the dream. Instead of peaceful routines, you’re stuck managing chaos—constant barking, lunging on walks, destruction at home, or a dog that just doesn’t seem to listen.
Maybe you’re feeling defeated after trying everything with no real progress. Or you’re overwhelmed by advice that only leaves you more confused. You might even be wondering if you’re the problem, or if this is just how things have to be.
But here’s the truth: you’re not failing, and things can get better.
With the right help, you can have a calm, connected relationship with your dog. You can enjoy your time together again—on walks, in your home, and everywhere in between.
And that’s where I come in.
I can help you with...

“Anthony has been immensely helpful and so supportive with my 18 month old Vizsla. We started off with one issue and as ever with young dogs these things evolve but nothing is too much trouble!
Anthony’s breadth of experience dealing with frustration and reactivity helps me feel reassured there is light at the end of the adolescent tunnel and that I don’t have to avoid situations any longer! Not only are the sessions innovative and effective Anthony is always on hand with words of encouragement. Highly recommended!”

About Me
Hi, I’m Anthony, a qualified & experienced dog trainer & behaviourist.
I started Buttons & Leash in 2019, after struggling to find the right help for my Belgian Shepherd puppy, Tywin, who arrived with multiple behavioural issues after being rescued.
This struggle showed me just how difficult life with a challenging dog can be and how valuable it can be to work with someone who not only understands your struggles but can also guide you through them.
So, if you’re looking to work with someone who’s not only experienced but has also been in your shoes, you’re in the right place.

Will we work well together?
Absolutely! if:
- You've worked with multiple trainers/behaviourists with little, to no progress being made. Or the methods they used made you feel uncomfortable.
- You want to understand the root cause(s) of your dog's behaviour & how you can help them.
- Your dog is part of your family & you want them to feel happy & safe.
- You're fed up with all the conflicting advice out there & want to work with someone who you can trust to give you the most appropriate adivce & guidance.
- You are committed to helping your dog with training methods that are kind, ethical & effective.
- You understand there are no quick fixes or guarantees when it comes to training your dog.

“Working with Anthony has surpassed all of our expectations! His experiences with rescues (we have a 5 month staff cross) has been invaluable in helping Olive get back on her feet. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help in any way possible with a variety of solutions to the same situation depending on your dogs needs and personality. Puppy classes did not work for Olive hence why we started 1:1s with Anthony, Olive has come on leaps and bounds in just 8 weeks and I am really looking forward to continuing our training bi weekly. Hand on heart, I couldn’t recommend it enough and I truly believe you won’t regret it 🙂”
